The Skin & Beauty Retreat is a hidden oasis tucked away in St Mary’s Court, created by salon owner Sarah, whose passion for skin health sits at the heart of everything she does. With over 17 years’ experience in the beauty industry, Sarah’s career spans luxury spas, six-star cruise liners, and teaching beauty therapy at degree level experience that now shapes the exceptional standard of care within the salon.

Specialising in results driven facial treatments, alongside massage and waxing (including female intimate waxing), The Skin & Beauty Retreat offers a calm, expert-led environment where clients feel truly comfortable in their own skin.
Sarah’s dedication to skincare led her to carefully select Sothys Paris as the salon’s exclusive skincare partner. Sharing the same ethos of respectful, responsible beauty, Sothys has represented French excellence in professional skincare since 1946, combining advanced science with sensorial treatments that deliver visible results.
We selected our amazing device from the UK's Number 1 laser and IPL manufacturer, Lynton, not only because their devices are used within the NHS but with Lynton, we can trust in delivering safe, reliable and unrivalled results for our clients.
Launched in April 2022, Skin & Beauty Retreat’s unique approach and elevated client experience quickly caught the attention of Sothys themselves. Sarah went on to train in Paris at the Sothys Institute and now proudly provides professional training for Sothys spas and salons across the North of England and Scotland, further cementing her reputation as a trusted skin expert within the industry.
